Have you gone to see Frozen yet? If you have you know how beautiful and awesome it is. If you haven’t all I can say is go. Now. I loved the movie and couldn’t wait to meet Anna and Elsa on our recent trip to Walt Disney World. I loved that the meet and greet was placed in the Norway Pavilion (my favorite) since it is where the filmmakers went to get inspiration for the movie.
Anna and Elsa’s meet and greet is located to the left in the Norway Pavilion directly across from Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Right now they are meeting guests daily between 11:00 am and 6:50 pm. A word of warning, right now this meet and greet is extremely popular. We arrived at 2:00 pm and were the last people in line for the 3:00 pm session. The people behind us were the first family in line to see Anna and Elsa at 4:50 pm. Since we were the last people we actually met them around 3:40 pm so our total wait time was an hour and 40 minutes and the Cast Members said that was one of the shortest waits all day. I would suggest showing up early to the Norway Pavilion to try and see them at 11:00 am. That is probably going to be the shortest wait.
So was it worth it? Yes! We love meeting characters and Anna and Elsa were amazing. Their costumes were gorgeous and had so much detail. Anna was as friendly as we expected her to be and told Drew that Olaf would love his hat.Elsa was very sweet too and took credit for the cooler temperatures we had that week at the parks.
I’m not sure how long Anna and Elsa will be greeting guests so if you are going to be in the parks soon I would definitely stop by if you are a fan of the film. Walt Disney World’s website has then scheduled through February 8, 2014 but I am hoping they will stick around since they are so popular.
